1 day guided Surf Coast walks

Your choice of walk from stunning coastal settings to cool temperate rainforest experiences. For example:

Bell’s Beach to Anglesea (12km -6 hours)
This trip follows the stunning cliffs from this world-famous surf break along the Marine National Park to Point Addis. From there the walk takes you along a magnificent beach and through National Estate-listed heath-land to the delightful coastal hamlet of Anglesea. You might spot an echidna or a kangaroo. Migratory birds roost here after their flights to the northern hemisphere.

Anglesea to Aireys Inlet (8km 4hours)
Walk along the pristine beaches of the Southern Ocean where surfers catch the raw ocean swells. You might catch a glimpse of the endangered Hooded Plover nesting at high tide or spot an Emu Wren. Fairy Penguins nest here. Then walk along the stunning cliff-line to beautiful Aireys Inlet. You could tour the historic lighthouse built in 1890 and hear tales of the early light-keepers and the many shipwrecks.

Aireys Inlet to Eastern Beach
Stride along the stunning Fairhaven and Eastern Beaches, stopping to take in an elevated vista at Eastern View. Watch hang-gliders soaring or horse- riders along this superb stretch. Note the fascinating architecture along the way. Stop to beach-comb and perhaps peek into a rock-pool at the Eagle’s Nest Marine Sanctuary. Brilliant anemones, sea stars and the occasional octopus can be seen.

Lorne
A diverse range of trails takes you through cool rainforest and luxuriant fern gullies. Choose from a climb through a stunning canyon, or old logging trails showcasing the early settler history of the area, or riverside paths meandering through various forest types, to stunning waterfall treks.
